Monika Mangla

Position: CFA, Managing Director, Deloitte

Monika is a Managing Director with Deloitte currently focusing on driving finance transformation across various global clients leveraging digital technologies.  She has 20+ years of experience in both consulting and industry driving impactful and transformational solutions during her career.  Her success is founded on skills that include strategic vision, digital transformation and process optimization, governance, data analytics, organizational design, and stakeholder management.  Monika received a master’s degree in economics from the University of Maryland - College Park and is a Charter Financial Analyst (CFA). She started her career with KPMG in economics and statistical advisory and moved to Accenture as Senior Manager supporting both outsourcing and strategic business consulting.  Following the experience in consulting, Monika joined Chevon as senior advisor in Upstream Finance and held a variety of roles in corporate functions and in operations, with time in the Gulf of Mexico, US Deepwater and Thailand.  

 

Outside of work, Monika is passionate about volunteering and mentoring, in the area of sustainability, education, and women empowerment.  She mentors actively through CleanTechOpen, a California based accelerator program focusing on clean energy and serves on the board of BreaktheTide, a non-profit based out of Maryland.  She is a seasoned and sought-after speaker at various industry forums.  She enjoys reading and traveling in her free time, often collecting meaningful souvenirs along the way. One can even determine which years Monika lived in Thailand based the collection of animals in her office from the Chinese lunar calendar.
