Niels Meissner

Niels Meissner was born and spent his early childhood years in Germany, then moved with his family to Houston, TX. He started his career in the oil and gas sector as a floor hand (roughneck) on a land rig in South East Texas. He went on to get his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from The Colorado School of Mines, where he competed on the varsity swim team.

He also holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Throughout his professional career, he has lived and worked in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas in varying roles and responsibilities; field engineering, product line management, sales management, strategy, and business development and marketing. He is currently the Chief Revenue Officer of the Enterprise segment within Viasat, based in Houston, TX, and serves as a board advisor to the Inteliwell Joint-Venture.
