Dr Subrata Bhowmik

Dr Subrata Bhowmik, a distinguished Fellow of IMarEST, brings over 20 years of expertise in digital, innovation, consulting, and engineering within the energy sector. He has been instrumental in driving digital transformation, shaping AI strategy, and spearheading net-zero initiatives. Widely acknowledged as a trailblazer in developing the digital twin concept for the energy industry, Subrata holds a Master's in Engineering from ETH Zurich, an Executive Master's in Management from Bayes Business School London, and a PhD in Applied Neural Computing from the Technical University of Denmark. Currently, he serves as the Principal Engineer - Innovation and Research at the McDermott London office.
