Position: Policy Officer, The Association for Decentralised Energy
Kailin leads on energy flexibility and demand side response within the Policy team at the Association for Decentralised Energy (ADE), the UK’s leading advocate for a more local, zero carbon energy system. Kailin holds a BE(Hons) in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from the University of Queensland and is passionate about using his technical background to help inform meaningful energy and climate policy. His previous positions have spanned both technical and regulatory sides of the Australian energy sector, from process engineering roles focused on emissions reduction in oil & gas, to providing energy assurance and consulting services in Ernst & Young’s Climate Change & Sustainability group
