Dr Juan Farré

Juan has been leading hightech businesses internationally for over 20 years focusing on transformation: startups, mergers, acquisitions, spinoffs, turnarounds and an IPO. Juan serves on the boards of growth companies, innovation foundations, the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences and committees of the Confederation of Danish Industries.

FORCE Technology is the result of a merger between two leading Scandinavian Research and Technology Organisations: an advanced electronics and digital powerhouse and an inspection and service company in the fields of oil, gas and wind. FORCE served last year more than 9,000 businesses often in collaborative R&D efforts with more than 40 universities and other RTOs. FORCE have recently cofounded the Nordic Center for Internet of Things, an open Scandinavian platform for accelerating digitalisation of businesses.

Juan holds an MScEE Telecom from Barcelona, a PhD from Copenhagen and a Postdoc in submarine systems from Nippon Electric Corporation in Tokyo.
