Owen is responsible for end user and enterprise IT strategy, delivery and operations for
the Shell group globally. Critical to this role is ensuring the delivery of robust, secure
and reliable IT operations that increases productivity and performance potential while
deploying the scalable fabric for Shell’s digital transformation.
With over 26 years of experience in global IT and digital leadership having previously
worked for IBM, Cable & Wireless and Serco prior to his career in Shell. Owen brings a
wealth of expertise to the company. He has a proven track record in business
partnering, strategic change delivery, innovation, and operational excellence.
Throughout his career at Shell, he has held a range of IT leadership positions in the
Upstream, Projects & Technology, Integrated Gas, Downstream, Trading & Supply, and
Global Functions directorates and functions.
Owen is recognized for his ability to lead large and diverse global teams, drive digital
transformation, and cultivate diverse, engaged and empowered teams to achieve
results.
An Irish national, he has lived and worked in multiple countries. He is currently based in
The Hague, The Netherlands, which has been his adopted home country since 2007.
