Position: Research Analyst, Lux Research
Harshit Sharma leads Lux Research’s research services for the digital transformation of heavy industries such as oil and gas, mining, and marine sectors and is based in Lux Research’s Singapore office. His research focuses on technological developments and market trends impacting the energy sector, ranging from digital oilfield to crude refining and petrochemicals. Harshit has deep expertise in key emerging technologies, such as digital twins, oilfield autonomy, crude-to-chemicals, and gas detection and capture. Prior to joining Lux Research, Harshit designed and manufactured completion tools as an R&D Engineer at Halliburton. Specifically, his work led to new innovations in liner hangers and swell packers for open hole completions. Harshit received his M.S. from the National University of Singapore in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on offshore technology catered for the subsea market in Malaysia.
