Janaina Ruas Filiponi

Janaina has 20 years of experience on the Energy sector, working currently at SLB, a global technology company driving energy innovation with expertise in more than 120 countries.

As a legacy O&G, SLB has a huge challenge ahead and are partnering with its customers in close collaboration to create industry-changing technologies that unlock cleaner, safer access to energy for every community.

She is Brazilian and her background is Mechatronics Engineering. She has started career on Operations side of business as a field engineer in Brazil, then moved across different countries, positions and functions such as Management Operations, Business Consulting, Planning, Project Management and finally on past years has been under Planning & Supply Chain function.

She is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish and worked around the globe, first starting in Brazil, then passing through Americas, Middle East, Norway and currently living in Scotland where she works as Head of Supply Chain & Sustainability for Europe countries in SLB.

The current position covers the Supply Chain on different aspects of Material Management, Logistics, Procurement, Sourcing and Regulatory on most of European countries from UK down to Turkey and Cyprus side. And recently due personal interest increased towards Sustainability, she also took the lead as Head of Sustainability for the same area of coverage, driving several internal sustainability initiatives within her area of influence in Europe, trying to always drive a sustainable supply chain function where we operate.
