Position: Lead Control & Instrumentation Engineer, Clair Ridge Project, BP
Steve started on the BP graduate program in 2003. Since then, he has worked across multiple different BP areas within the upstream Oil and Gas world (Norway, London, Aberdeen, Korea) in both onshore and offshore roles. During these 15 years he has been involved in identifying new technologies for use within BP, developing and rolling out pilot schemes and infrastructure to enable the use of new technologies and setting up ways of working to utilise new capabilities.
Since 2010, he has been the Lead Control & Instrumentation on the Clair Ridge facility in the North Sea and part of the team taking Clair Ridge from a paper-based design, through construction in Korea and into one of the largest hook-ups offshore in recent North Sea history.
