Vitaly Elichev

Vitaly works for Global Technology and Innovation Department of German leading Oil & Gas Operator Wintershall Holding GmbH. He leads development and implementation of digital technologies for production optimization, enabled by digital solution and data science. Main focus of his activities is to implement faster and more rational decision making in uncertain conditions and shift typical asset management approach from reactive to proactive style.

He has almost 20 years of experience working as reservoir and production engineer in oil & gas and the last fifteen years he has been involved in different digitalization projects for various Oil & Gas operators. He has experience not only within technology development projects, but as well within  the projects related to transformation of business processes induced by higher level of digitalization. 

Vitaly holds an Engineering degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics from Ufa State Aviation Technical University and additional training as Petroleum Engineer and Project Manager.
