Xiaojun Huang

Xiaojun Huang is the Project Executive focusing on Subsurface digital transformation at ExxonMobil.  Xiaojun brings to her team 10 years of academic research and 18 years of ExxonMobil technical, business and managerial experience, with demonstrated success in leading changes through complex internal and external landscape and delivering results. 

Xiaojun joined ExxonMobil in 2003 after receiving a Ph.D in Geophysics from MIT.  She has progressed from a research scientist, to hydrocarbon explorer, R&D supervisor, global technology delivery and application manager, manager for China and Middle East new opportunities exploration, and R&D director.   She received IBM Global Top 40 Women Leader in AI Award in 2019.

Xiaojun lives in Houston with her husband and 16-year old son.  She loves yoga, reading and travel.  She commits her time in improving k-12 STEM education and promoting equality at workplace.
